Precis of why this decision was made

It's that classic tale of boy meets girl on the internet, then incidentally in person while she is on holiday. Boy and girl converse via the internet. Girl incidentally goes on holiday to his country again. Boy and girl meet again, and discover a mutual attraction. Girl goes home. Boy starts to write "I think I love you and want to spend the rest of our lives together". Girl decides he's right and perhaps he'd better come and visit just to make sure. Boy visits for 3 glorious, wonderful weeks. They decide that yes, spending the rest of their lives together would be just fabulous, and she should move over to his country as soon as possible. There is much crying and sadness after departure, but happiness about future.
